The Black Cube has a large tract of his land planted St. Augustine grass which requires good care and permanent irrigation.
1) The water used for irrigation comes from a well drilled within the plot of the Black Cube and carries a large amount of mineral salts.
2) When the irrigation system is activated waters falls on the crystals of the first three lines of panels north and east facades.
3) Early in the morning crystals reach high temperatures, which cause that water evaporate almost immediately, leaving these mineral salts which are very corrosive
GLASS WALLS STAINED BY
The corrosion process of the crystals has been present in the Black Cube for decades with no apparent solution to be corrected. To restore the expensive panels that constitute the Wall-Curtain Banaven Center, many methods and products were evaluated from diverse maintenance companies without success. Not getting the sought solution, Maintenance Management had planned to remove all of the affected panels to spending thousands of dollars to do so. After our demo , our project to restore the Curtain-Wall was approved and the project was done exceding Black Cube Management's expectation and thousands of dollars were saved.
